Utility for extracting List of PRs and Review comments

Business Problem

  • Currently there is no single solution existing that can help in monitoring the PRs of entire team
  • Lots of individual follow ups required and individuals need to check the status of PRs on their own

Solution

HCL has developed a Utility to check the Status of PRs:

  • To check if PRs are approved/Pending/in Conflict State etc. -with the correct status we can follow up for the required action.
  • One Stop Solution for monitoring the PRs of Entire team and does not require to check individually.

Why is the solution unique

  • Fast Approvals and Closure of PR - Team members were missing out PR on getting Approval and had to keep a track of Open PRs
  • Fast Tracking of Review comments - Tracking review comments on each PR was a tough and time consuming task, visiting each PR and noting it down , with the help of tool it’s a matter of few clicks

  • We can use different filter - resource/ Time range as required for monitoring purpose.
