As part of digitalization, customers would like to have Virtual adding the items to their cart using mobile app and generate QR code and proceed with self checkout by avoiding huge queue lines at the Counter
Currently there is no privilege to have Virtually adding the items to cart and have self checkout
HCL created a Mobile app for NRF to showcase the new shopping & payment feature where users can scan items through Mobile App, generate QR code and that can be scanned at any MPOS and then payment can be processed. We used XAMARIN for app and RetailServer APIs
We used XAMARIN code for developing IOS and Andorid APP and customized the Retail Server APIs and Zxing library for generating QR code
